Even though Erik is originally from South Carolina, we met at a Bills Backers bar near the beaches of San Diego through a friend of a friend... who just happened to be from Grand Island. Sounds like fate to us.

In 2025, I visited a wellness studio in Arizona and walked in carrying the weight and pressures of everyday life.
I WALKED OUT FEELING NOTICEABLY DIFFERENT—LIGHTER, CLEARER AND MORE LIKE MY TRUE SELF.
I couldn't stop thinking about that feeling, or what it would mean to create a place where people in our own community could experience it, too. That experience planted the seed for NOVA.
